Came across a pretty nifty pipe chart after some random browsing. I wasn’t aware of the names of all the types there are and quite a few I didn’t even think were options (Vest Pocket style? Horn style? Yes please).

So, now I know what pipes I actually have: A cherry wood bent billiard, a corncob poker, and a bent apple (not sure what wood it is). Since I was initially browsing since I was in the market for a new one, I think I may look into a vest pocket or a freehand. I’d like to add to my collection some of the more recognizable types like the Calabash or Churchwarden, just to have them.

Progress on our allotment. The first picture taken in April, only the daffodils and broad beans making any headway. The second picture today 26th May, everything greening up nicely! Daffs are over, broad beans have doubled, artichokes, hollyhocks and potatoes all thriving.
